Emergency Assistance
These programs are available to eligible residents in the agency’s service area. Proof of residency, income, and household members is required.
- Food pantry accessible for emergency purposes.
- Limited financial assistance for unexpected expenses or economic crisis involving utility shut-offs, eviction prevention, prescriptions, and transportation.
- Medical equipment loaning.
- Christmas food baskets.
- Children’s Christmas party with Santa for ages 0 – 10.
- Referral to Vicksburg Lions Club for possible eye exams/glasses.
- Information linking clients to other agencies through referral and facilitating the application process or coordination of assistance.
