How you can help
Supporting SCCS can be achieved in many ways: financial gifts, food, clothing, and volunteering of your time. SCCS is the only non-profit human service agency in south Kalamazoo County. We are a 501 C 3 United Way agency and all donations are tax deductible.
- Financial donations are gratefully accepted year round to the general fund or can be designated to any program area.
- Food pantry donations are always welcome as the need continues to rise. Just bring them directly to the office of SCCS in the Vicksburg Community Center at 101 S. Main, Vicksburg and they’ll go directly into our food pantry.
- Clothing donations can be made directly to our clothing shoppe located at Lakeland Reformed Church on Sprinkle Road. At the rear of the lower level is a large bin for receiving clean and seasonal clothing items. Eligible clients are given a referral to be presented at the shoppe to receive free apparel they may need.
- Memorial contributions can be made in memory of someone important to you and are acknowledged to the donor and the family of the departed.
